Wednesday, August 6, 2025, will forever remain a dark day in Ghana’s history. I was getting ready for the day when I received the shocking news that a Ghana Armed Forces helicopter had crashed. At first, I didn’t believe it. But as updates began to pour in, the truth settled in painfully—the crash had taken the lives of eight people , including two respected ministers and other important personalities who were on board. This blog is my way of expressing not just what happened, but how deeply this tragedy has shaken me, and indeed, the whole country.
